Workroom

Some religious orders support themselves by making and selling coffee, some by making and selling break, still others by making and selling gift baskets. At this Abbey we support our mission by teaching. The Workroom is a place to remind us that we do the work of the Lord. It also reminds us that people outside of the Abbey are also working hard, and often have very little time to dedicate to learning about the faith. That’s why we are now working on developing some learning tools that you can use in your everyday lives. These are “micro-lessons” such as small plaques that you can stick on your bathroom mirror to recall and meditate on a verse from the Bible or from the Catechism. Some of these micro-lesson tools are free. Others are available through the Community Education program. Take a look!
