Email Policy
E-mail communication from From the Abbey includes educational as well as promotional e-mails. The goal of all communication with you is to offer you something of value, that you want to receive. The policy spelled out below is intended to ensure that you receive only what is of value to you.
Your contact information will be used to
- Communicate with you about your orders
- Respond directly to your inquiries
- Invite you to receive a specific e-mail sequence
An e-mail sequence may be educational or promotional in nature. The invitation to receive a sequence will explain exactly what the sequence will cover (whether it is educational or promotional), how many e-mails you will receive, and approximately how far apart you can expect each e-mail to arrive (usually one e-mail per week). If you choose to subscribe to a particular sequence, you will receive only the e-mails in that sequence (with the possible exception of other invitations once in a while). When the sequence is completed, the e-mails stop until you accept an invitation to receive another sequence.
You always have full control over the e-mails sent to you. If you decide that you no longer want to receive e-mails in a particular sequence, you can access your subscription options by clicking the link at the bottom of each e-mail. This link gives you the options to:
- Update your contact information
- Unsubscribe from the particular e-mail sequence you are receiving
- Unsubscribe from all e-mail sequences and future invitations to receive sequences
