I was watching Start Trek, Next Generation last night. I love that show (I’m a sci-fi junky). Part of the fun of the show (for me) is to identify creator Gene Roddenberry’s worldview. I have read that Roddenberry is a naturalist who really believes that humanity is heading for technologically and rationally engendered perfection.
