Fairytales and children’s books are often the targets of criticism by those who fear indoctrination from the Right or from the Left. The essay Children of the Left, Unite by Caleb Crain is a case in point. Jeff Arrowood taught moral theology, literature, US history and psychology at a Catholic high school for ten years.
